When you are out at work you need to know what your child has been doing and how they are feeling. For babies I keep a daily diary with things such as food they  have eaten, nappy changes, naps and activities or you can receive messages by text or email.

I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) so we can see your child is making progress and trying new things. There is a parents Guide I can show you or take a look at this: https://www.gov.uk/early-years-foundation-stage

You may also want to take a look at  https://hungrylittleminds.campaign.gov.uk/ This is a great campaign to give children a boost in their early years

I keep a record of their creative work like drawings and take lots of photographs. This makes a scrapbook for you to keep.
Older children will be able to tell you more about their day but they still get a scrapbook, they usually help make it!
I'm happy to send you text message with photos while your child is here so you can be sure that your child has settled.
If I have any concerns I will draw your attention to them. I want us to work together as a team to make your childcare choice a positive experience.

I have excellent working relationships with other childminders in the area and both Gedney Hill and Shepeau Stow schools.

If you want to keep up with what we are up to, we are on Facebook.
